Good and bad news from Austria. The Alpine country will make the corona measures more flexible. After Easter, small shops and parks will be reopened. If the new measures get positively evaluated, larger shops and (later on) schools will be reopened too.
Unfortunately, there's bad news as well. Large events are prohibited until at least the end of June. This means a large number of Austrian gran fondo's and sportives are cancelled. The biggest victim: the Dreiländergiro.
The Ötztaler Radmarathon (traditionally organized at the end of August) is not cancelled or moved at this moment.Related stories
